An Honest Broker

One of our guiding principles is to serve as an “honest broker” between the client and Members of Congress who are willing to become engaged on the client’s behalf.  This role requires us to distinguish between requests that are reasonable and unreasonable, and to never ask Members to do the impossible, which can result in failure for all concerned.

At the same time, it is our job to explain the results of our efforts in terms that are credible to our clients.  Maintaining and building credibility with both a Member of Congress and with a client is the currency of value in doing business in Washington.  At Gordley Associates, we have earned and carefully guard a reputation for being straightforward and transparent in our government relations work.
